The "Râcines Bordeaux" project
In this singular moment when the whole world is on pause and our habits are disturbed, it appears necessary to look towards what's essential. From this planetary tremor, an immense wave of mutual caring has emerged. In this context, sheer evidence came to the mind: Collective intelligence is powerful. Companies and people gathered to help each other and rethink the future. Together, everything is possible. At this crossroad, 3 paths, 3 different universes, but a single goal: showing to the largest number the art of living a quality life. This is a common line between french businesses taking on a quest to achieve excellency - in their products and their relationships with others. 3 brands that carry their values and involvements : creativity, responsibilty, exigency, generosity, passion of excellency, and a fierce will to promote their know-hows. That's how Râcines (Rôôts) naturally came to life. A solidary initiative, the creation of a pool of means, thoughts and sharing that will help reinventing customer experience. Fabienne MASSIP, Cecile DESPONS, Florence LAFRAGETTE. This solidary initiative was born in Bordeaux and draws its energy from this territory filled with values nested in its origins. Promoting this region, extolling the know-how and the quality of its products is the purpose of Râcines. It is necessary to build bridges, ties, to lend hands, to listen more than ever before to the customers' expectations and needs. Reinventing the meaning of "providing a service". This project carried by 3 women from Bordeaux, Florence, Fabienne et Cécile, gave its heart to Râcines, and this confinement put the economy on a forced pause. They took the so precious time for a common reflexion. What came out of these exchanges today, is that it is time for action and changing the vision of their trades, giving a meaning, offering more people-oriented commerce and crafts. 3 french brands Petrusse, De Grimm and Histoire de Gourmandises together under the same flag: to value social innovation and making their values shine. Râcines reaches out to people by organising events aiming to teach in a playful way their art of living. Râcines unveiled this solidary initiative on June 11th 2020 with the presence of many quality guests.
Bordeaux's mayor Nicolas Florian with Maribel Bernard, Nathalie Laporte - President of the Chamber of trades and crafts in Gironde, M. Philippe Loiseau - President of the Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and many significant representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Bordeaux gathered in one of PETRUSSE's stores to show their support into this initiative 100% Bordeaux and 100% feminine. They had a chance to admire 3 prestigious local brands' products represented by Fabienne MASSIP (De Grimm), Cécile DESPONS (Histoire de Gourmandises), Florence LAFRAGETTE (Petrusse), and acknowledge the values they share: excellency of the local know-how, regional art of life and living-well together.
